The Knowledge

So it happens that nobody in the world actually knows anything.

IT manager buddy of mine almost entirely relies on the answer: 'I don't know' to almost every question he is asked.

This says a lot about his experience and the average reliability of any kind of internet based entity at all. In fact it's not limited to just internet entities, it's widespread around the entire universe about anything.

For this reason everything is research. You cannot make a single decision without first running a quick test to see how it will pan out.

If you were to watch the well scripted, phenomenally well cast 'Lucky Never Slevin' you'll find that most managers like a sure thing. Raising the bar to the level of Gangster crime Lord and the importance of knowing a sure thing becomes a sure thing that is a matter of life and death. Gangster crime syndicate overlords force everthing to become a sure thing otherwise they don't gain the infamy they need to successfully run crime syndicates.

I have been thoroughly bothered by media lack of great criminal bosses in cinema history. There are very few of them that have any reason for being as evil as they are. Iron Man is a great film. But Obidia in it is its weakest character. The production team must have really dropped the ball when they thought him up. It's good that he was always secretly working against Stark and you could just about justify his actions purely with the idea of greed.

I digress. Again. Nobody knows shit.
