Heard James speak about his work last Friday, was very interesting and inspiring. Was very surprised to hear him announce that he ranks 27th in the list of UK marathon runners. Running is something that very much came about as a way of getting to the studio and he found it very rewarding. He said it had a zen like sense of challenge about it. It's not something you enjoy it is something that you more endure, struggle through and then come out at the end of but he was surprised to find that he was good at it and has a touch of regret that he didn't get into it earlier in life. He has problems with his knee which is why he doesn't run quite like how he used to but he did say at least he isn't running 14 miles to get to the studio any more. I'm quoting all this from memory so sorry if it's innaccurate or my hearing didn't work properly at the time.
I had a chance to chat to him when he had finished and he said that I was lucky in my current state of joblessness because it meant I was the free-est I could ever be and it's true.
Other than having a slight need to provide for my forthcoming family I am completely free to use my time exactly as I please. What I then do during my day is entirely up to me so I try to use my time productively to end up with something to show for it as the sun sets and the day draws literally to a close.
There are plenty of ways of buying into the James Jarvis camp most notably through the Amos shop he uses to sell designer toys. I'll add a view to this post as I'm toying with Amazon apps but I try to keep the standards of the products I push high value.
